Our founder, Dan Maxwell, is a certified home and safety inspector with a background in emergency public service. Dan holds multiple certifications, including home inspection, radon testing, and mold testing. He's a member of the International Association for Child Safety and the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors. Prior to working in home inspection, Dan served as a firefighter, paramedic, and fire investigator for almost forty years. He is a Maryland native and has lived with his family in Mt. Airy since the early 1990s.

Looking to Purchase or List a Home?

If you are looking to purchase or list a home, we will conduct a thorough inspection of the property and provide a detailed report of the home's condition, any hazards found, color photos of our findings, and drone photos of the roof. In most cases, we will email you your report within 24 hours of the inspection.

This service does not include a written report, but you are able to ask our inspector questions and we'll give you our professional opinion on strengths, concerns, or hazards of the home.
